P4(a) Distribution channels
Meaning: Distribution channel means using other media channels or public services to promote the company's media product, making the company more recognisable and popular.
Purpose: In this section I am going to show where Disney channels or media is distributed in different channels or media distributions.
Disney ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution s the in-home content distribution arm for The Walt Disney company within North America. The Division provides top-tier motion pictures and television programming, like, electronic home video, videos in residential and hotels, pay television, basic cable, broadcast television, online and other digital technologies.
It has a wide range of entertainment, in order to attract more attention and matches the demand of different people at different age range.
These are the division of The Walt Disney Company.
-Disney Media Distribution (DMD) is in charge for the international distribution of The Walt Disney Company's branded and non-branded content to all televisions, broadband, and mobile games.

From this graph, we understand that Disney Channel gains a lot of viewers over 2012 to 2016, however, the number is decreasing. It might be because the originally purpose of The Disney Channel is designed to 1990s children, and it's a new generation now, with the change of children, it is harder to fulfil their commands.

In this website, it contains all sorts of entertainment, first, as a TV program, it has TV section, so children or audiences could review the programs and videos in Disney Channel, it is also free to watch, so making it more popular.
It also offers games for the young gamers to play. These games are related to the movies or media product from The Walt Disney, here shows the connection between The Walt Disney Company and The Disney Channel. This makes the movies more recognisable and famous as it is not only a movie but also has a game for it.
This is the Disney Store section, and it has a wide range of products to be sold online. From this shop, it does not only sell products from the TV programs from The Disney Channel, but also media products from their Disney division, like Marvels and Pixar. This again shows the connection between Disney Channels and other divisions from The Walt Disney Company. The shop has a lot of products to sell, therefore, it meets a range of audience's demand.
